Pattern Printing to Realize a High Aspect Ratio (Old Page)

A wide variety of semiconductor components are used in various electronic devices such as personal computers, mobile phones, and thin displays. Printable electronics is bringing about a major change in the manufacturing process. It's been a long time since the term "printable electronics" began to be used, but in recent years, printable electronics technology has regained its spotlight due to the reduction in manufacturing costs and advances in organic materials. Here we introduce an example of screen printing technology that is expected to be applied to printable electronics.

Screen printing for high aspect ratio

By optimizing the combination of our Vacuum Screen Printer, metal mask and ink, we can achieve high aspect ratio pattern printing as shown in the photo below. The table below shows examples of line width and film thickness measurements using two types of ink.
