The fact that the special procurement boom by the Korean War played a big role in raising the standard for the postwar Japanese economy is told in many places.

It ranged literally to every field of industry. For example, it influenced the field of industrial sewing machines: One of the elements of growing demand was sewing hemp bags for sandbags used on the battlefield. For sewing the bags for foods etc. imported from overseas to convert into sandbags, a large quantity of sewing machines were needed.

Inoue again thinks he was lucky to take up a new business successfully in such time. It owes not a little to a time advantage that he was able to incorporate the factory in October 1960, soon after the construction of the factory, quickly exceeding the time of private enterprises toward establishing NEWLONG SEIMITSU.

Still, the production of sewing machine parts was no more than the level of narrowly maintaining an enterprise even in the time of the special procurement boom by the Korean War because of the low unit prices despite the small size of parts that required precision. That is the biggest reason that made Inoue keep original products, yet it is interesting that he is relaxed that he can say, "The fifteen years before that was time for improving technology and training the staff.", now that he has obtained screen printers, much longed-for new products.

In the business year 1967, a year after changing its main products to screen printers, the annual sales of NEWLONG SEIMITSU hit the 100 million yen mark. In the background, the first and following machines had good reputation that soon resulted in two or three monthly production to order.

Since then, for seven years until business year 1973, when an oil crisis broke out, the sales had smoothly increased to reach just below 600 million yen mark.

Inoue even thought when the growth was at its peak, "What if the sales keep increasing like this?" Fictitious demand increased rapidly.
Since he was running the factory all-out always having demand up to more than six months to come, it is no wonder Inoue felt like that.

In 1969, he founded Komae Factory in Komae city, Tokyo.
Because of a rush of orders, the assembly space in the factory of the head office had completed been too small. Then, he purchased a single-storied factory building with a floor area of 290 square meters at an auction. It was a foreclosure which used to be a radio/audio-related assembly plant in financial difficulties. It is like a page from history reflecting the changing times.

As the technical skills and production facilities had been improved, the development of new products was also promoted at a swift pace. In 1966, LS-45A, which is now a best seller, was marketed. This kind of machines played a central role in opening up a time of mass-production screen-printing together with LS-102A and 60A, which were developed at almost the same time in the same year.
Although LS-30A and 7AN, marketed in 1968, established the time of mass production, 45A, 30A and 7AN still has strong power as the three best sellers of NEWLONG SEIMITSU today.

Each of them is a support being stable as a product, a machine succeeded standardization best.

7AN is what is called "small-sized plane screen-printer", which was the vanguard of developing new fields of IC and ceramics printing technology. It was a chance that screen-printing technology appeared as a great leader of electronic industrial technology which is the forefront technology of today.

After that, the development of new products continued in response to the change of the times. From the fully automatic printers born in the labor saving era up to custom machines that meet the users' needs, technology of NEWLONG SEIMITSU now strongly impresses us how powerful it is.
